May 25, 2007Beginning on Tuesday, May 29th the library will operate on our Summer schedule. We will be closed on Sundays and open all other days of the week. We also will observe the Memorial Day Holiday and will be closed on Monday, May 28th.

Introduction to RefWorks
This session will cover the basics of using the online research management tool RefWorks. The web-based program, which is an online alternative to EndNote, is designed to help researchers gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies. Introduction to EndNote
Need help organizing your references and creating bibliographies? The EndNote program allows you to store and manage references. EndNote can also import citations from online databases. Use EndNote to insert references into word processing documents and compile a bibliography in any citation style. (Scott Johnston)

If your defense is in sight, plan to attend one of these workshops to learn the dissertation deposit process including depositing a copy of your dissertation electronically. CAMIO database trial
May 3, 2007The GC now has a trial subscription to CAMIO, a collection of 90,000 digital images representing the collections of many prominent museums. Included are works owned by the Frick Collection, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The trial runs through June 30th.
18th-Century Reading Room Guest Speaker Series
