As of January 27, the Graduate Center subscribes to ARTstor, a database providing nearly one million images in the visual arts. In addition to scholars in art history, ARTstor should be of interest to students in anthropology, classics, history, literature, medieval studies, music, philosophy, renaissance studies, and theatre. Use the advanced search to limit searches by sixteen types of images and by 166 geographical locations.


JSTOR VI

As of January 2, all of CUNY subscribes to the JSTOR Arts & Sciences VI Collection, offering 30 titles in the social sciences.  This collection will expand to 120 titles by the end of 2010.  Titles available now include Africa Today, Eastern European Economics, Foreign Affairs, Human Ecology, International Journal of Politics, Culture, and Society, Jewish Social Studies, Journal of Economic Issues, Middle East Journal, Politics and the Life Sciences, and  Review of International Political Economy.  A complete list of JSTOR VI titles is available.
