Introduction to RefWorks
This session will cover the basics of using the online research management tool RefWorks. The web-based program, which is an online alternative to EndNote, is designed to help researchers gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies. Dissertation Preparation
If your defense is in sight, plan to attend one of these workshops to learn the dissertation deposit process including depositing a copy of your dissertation electronically. During these workshops, procedures for the deposit will be reviewed, tools and resources to help you with the process will be provided, and your questions will be answered. (Julie Cunningham)

This workshop will provide an overview of the major research databases available through the Graduate Center Library. Learn how to locate articles, how to select the best databases for your research topic, and how to formulate effective searches. Endnote X Now Available

The latest version of Endnote for the Macintosh platform is available for download on the library website.  You must use your Graduate Center usename and password to access the download.  The file is available from the library endnote webpage.  If you have been using an earlier version of endnote on a mac make sure to backup any filters, databases, and other information you’ve created using endnote before installing Endnote X.  This information will need to be manually transferred into the new version.  Contact the library reference staff if you have problems installing the software.
